In the human body, molybdenum is found in the bones, liver, and kidneys. Molybdenum plays a role in a number of important bio-chemical processes, like waste processing in the kidneys, development of the nervous system, and the activation of enzymes that are involved in breaking down food to produce energy. Molybdenum may also help support normal metabolism of fats and carbohydrates.
