Each 2 mL of Liposomal LipoCalm from Quicksilver Scientific delivers 350 mg of a proprietary blend of Gamma-aminobutyric acid (as PharmaGABA®), Liquid SkullcapHerbextract (Scutellaria lateriflora), Liquid Passion Flower extract (Passiflora incarnata), and Blue Chamomile Flower oil. A serving size is 4 pumps. Each bottle contains 25 servings.
The elegant centre piece of this formula is GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid), the premier ‘calm and connect, rest and repair’ neurotransmitter. We use a naturally sourced GABA produced via fermentation by Lactobacillushilgardii, found in kimchi, a traditional Korean salted fermented dish. Added in are botanicals and essential oils that also support GABA.
GABA inhibits or slows down nerve impulses, and supplementation has been found to increase calming alpha-wave patterns during challenging mental tasks. Naturally sourced GABA has been shown to promote relaxation and reduce the time to fall asleep as well as increase the time spent in deep sleep.
The three botanicals Skullcap, Passion Flower, and Egyptian Blue Chamomile oil are widely used in European and American traditional herbal medicine to allay tension, soothe the restless mind, and support relaxation.
Because traditional oral formulations of botanicals may have low bioavailability, Christopher Shade, Ph.D., developed liposomal LipoCalm™. Liposomal delivery systems protect molecules from breakdown while enabling more rapid uptake. In addition to exceptional absorption rates, these tiny liposomal and nanoemulsified particles increase diffusion across mucus membranes, enhance lymphatic circulation of nutrients and support cellular delivery. The phosphatidylcholine in liposomes offers a critical building block to lipid-rich brain cells.
How to Use:
Take 4 pumps as needed. Hold in mouth for 30 seconds before swallowing. May be mixed into water. Repeat to desired dosage or as directed by healthcare professional. Best taken on an empty stomach at least 10 minutes before meals. Use within 60 days of opening.
