Trace Minerals Complex II is formulated without both iron and copper. Trace minerals, or microminerals, are important nutrients that the body needs in small amounts to maintain proper function. Typically taken up from the soil by plants, trace minerals may be lacking in the modern diet due to decreasing nutrient content in the soils used in commercial farming.
Iodine plays a vital role in maintaining healthy thyroid function. Zinc plays an important role in healthy immune function and absorption of B vitamins. Selenium may help support the body's free radical defences and acts as a cofactor in a wide range of physiological processes. Manganese may help support healthy growth and development, as well as healthy fatty acid synthesis. Chromium may help support healthy energy production and carbohydrate metabolism. Molybdenum may help support healthy sulphur metabolism. Potassium is an important electrolyte, necessary for healthy nerve and muscle function and normal fluid balance. Boron may help support healthy bone development and metabolism of calcium, phosphorous, and magnesium. Vanadium may help support healthy metabolism and cellular health. Silica, naturally occurring in horsetail and other plant matter, may help support healthy bones, skin and joints.
Suggested Use
Take 1 capsule daily with food or as directed by your healthcare professional. Do not take within 5 hours of bedtime.
