Milk thistle from Quicksilver Scientific contains three phytonutrients (silybin, silydianin, and silychristin) together known as silymarin. Silymarin has been shown to prevent the absorption of toxins into the liver’s cells. It supports healthy digestive function and bile flow, and can help protect the body’s stores of glutathione, our primary endogenous antioxidant.
Because the key constituent of silymarin, silybin, has poor bioavailability in a typical oral formulation, Dr. Christopher Shade, PhD, developed our nanoemulsified Milk Thistle. The extract is encapsulated in tiny, highly absorbable liposomes. The result is a formula with rapid uptake and optimal cellular delivery.

We prioritise safe and fast delivery for all our customers. Our carefully selected couriers are, GLS (In partnership with OMC NI), DPD and DHL. We do our best to ship all orders placed before 1pm the same day (Mon-Fri), on rare occasions a driver may arrive earlier. Our warehouse is in County Antrim, all parcels ship from there, there are no additional duties and taxes to pay to EU countries
Ireland delivery - free standard delivery on orders above €125
The options for Ireland delivery are GLS, DHL and DPD. Prices start at €8.86, if your order is over €75 we offer GLS for €4.99 and over €125 this service is Free. DHL and DPD are dependent on weight and rates are calculated at checkout. Due to a high volume of lost parcels we no longer offer AnPost as an option

Most of our Ireland couriers aim to deliver next day but none of them guarantee it, it is best to choose the option you may have found most reliable in the past

Other EU deliveries can take 4-7 working days, and on rare occasions a little longer. The cost is dependent on country and weight of the order.

Returns
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, contact us at info@proactivehealthcare.ie with your order number within 14 days of receipt. The item you return must be sent in the same condition as received and inside the original packaging. Once received, we will notify you via email.
